a. General age relaxation of up to five (05) years in the upper age limit for male candidates and eight (08) years in the upper age limit for female candidates, as per the Punjab Government, S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-1 (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006. Furthermore, two (02) years General Age Relaxation, in addition to the age relaxation permissible under these notifications No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-2/2022 dated 26-01-2022, provided that this age relaxation is permissible for the recruitment of posts beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022. b. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted for a test/interview.
Applications that are incomplete, unsigned, or received after the closing date will not be considered.
d. No TA/DA will be provided to test/interview candidates.
e. Applicants who are already in service should apply through the regular channels and provide a No Problem Certificate (NOC) given by the appointing authority, demonstrating that the department has no objection to relieving the applicant if selected.
f. The IER. University of the Punjab reserves the right, without assigning any cause, to increase/decrease the number of advertised vacancies or to withhold appointment against any advertised job.
